Bahrain is stepping up to host the 2025 Veteran World Championships now that Tunisia is out. Tbilisi, Georgia will take on the 2026 event. And guess what? Canada might throw their hat in the ring for the 2027 Championships

Thanks very much for the Newsletter. This kind of info really helps in planning.
As you have advised, to gain points towards qualifying for the Worlds, one must participate in the appropriate age group category in designated ranking tournaments. For the Desjarlais, this costs an extra $10 per registration. However, when I try to register, it indicates that I am not ‘eligible’ to register for the age category. It isn’t possible to include a screenshot here but I can e-mail separately if you want to see what I am referring to.
