Events

• Poules of 6 or 7 fencers
• Age-group tableaux (40-49, 50-59, 60-69,70-79,80+)
• Combined tableaux

• If numbers permit team events will adopt the World’s format, otherwise
• Women’s Teams must have a combined age of at least 135 years
• Men’s Teams must have a combined age of at least 150 years
• Team substitutes must maintain the required aggregate age

• Poules seeding will be based on results from the previous year’s CanAm combined events, subject to review by the Secretariat
• Tableaux seeding will be based on results from the poules
• Team seeding will be based on results from the poules

Equipment

• FIE equipment is not required.
• A name and country patch is not required.
• Gloves, masks, and lames will be checked.
• No equipment vendor will be available at the venue.
• In 2027 FIE equipment will be required for whites and masks.
